The agreement, and what it covers
These terms govern your access to and use of LivHub — the website, the mobile browser experience, public pages, content feeds, messaging, matching tools, call features, payment flows, and everything related to them.
Using any of it confirms that you have read these terms, the privacy policy and the community guidelines, and agree to be bound by them, along with any feature-specific rules that apply to particular services. If you do not agree, the correct response is to stop using the platform.
Continuing to use the service after these terms are updated counts as accepting the revised version.
Who may use it
LivHub is not for anyone under 18, or under whatever higher minimum age applies where you are. Beyond age, you may only use it if the law that applies to you permits it — that qualifier is doing real work, and it is your responsibility to know which laws those are.
The details you give at registration, login, verification, purchase and profile setup must be accurate, current and complete. Your credentials are yours to protect, and everything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- Do not create accounts with false, misleading or stolen information.
- Do not transfer, sell, rent or share your account without authorisation.
- Do not bypass security checks, rate limits or access controls.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access, lost credentials, or any other security incident on your account.
What the platform provides
This is a social content and interaction platform. What it offers changes over time, and at present it can include:
- Video and photo publishing
- Create, upload, manage and share public-facing content where the feature is available.
- Messaging and notices
- Direct communication tools, plus service notifications about your account and activity.
- Matching and calls
- Random matching, video matching, voice calls and video calls where supported.
- Coins, VIP and gifts
- Premium benefits, virtual items and other digital services offered on the platform.
- Safety and account tools
- Report, block, account settings and support features for managing your own experience.
Any feature may be added, changed, restricted, suspended or discontinued for legal, operational, product, security or business reasons. No feature is guaranteed to stay available permanently or without interruption.
Your content, and how public it gets
Depending on the feature and on what you choose to do, your display name, avatar, profile page, videos, photos and comments may be visible to other users or to anyone at all. You are responsible for what you publish, upload, display or comment on, and you should only share material you have the right to share.
- Publicly posted content may be viewed, shared, cached or indexed by search engines.
- Deleting content here does not guarantee it disappears immediately from search results, caches or third-party references.
- Content that breaks the law or another party’s rights remains your responsibility.
You keep the rights in the content you lawfully create. By putting it here you grant the permissions needed to host, display, process, moderate, distribute, store and operate it within the platform and related services — no more than that.
What you may not do here
Use the platform lawfully, responsibly and with some regard for the people on the other side of it. It may not be used to harass, exploit, deceive or harm others, or to interfere with how the service runs.
- No unlawful, infringing, fraudulent or deliberately misleading content.
- No sexualised content involving minors, no exploitative material, no violent threats, no hate speech, and nothing else that breaches applicable safety standards.
- No impersonating another person, misrepresenting who you are, or misleading people about your connection to any individual or brand.
- No bots, scripts, automation, scraping, reverse engineering, or other technical means of manipulating the service.
- No scams, off-platform payment schemes, spam campaigns or comparable commercial abuse.
Feature-specific rules apply on top of these, and the community guidelines set out what moderation actually looks for. Breaking any of it can cost you the content, the feature, or the account.
Messaging, matching and calls
These features exist to let people talk to each other, and the rules follow from that. You may not use them to stalk, threaten, extort, harass, scam, solicit unlawful activity, spread malicious links, or push anyone toward something unsafe or prohibited.
- Match outcomes, response rates, social results and call quality are not guaranteed, and nobody can guarantee them.
- Decisions you make mid-conversation are yours — including whether to keep talking and what else to share.
- If something turns abusive or unsafe, the block, report and safety tools are there and they are read.
Payments, virtual items and VIP
The platform may offer coins, VIP membership, virtual gifts, premium features, paid content and other digital goods. Prices, descriptions, eligibility, availability and usage rules appear on the relevant purchase, payment or account screens — read them there, because they are the authoritative version.
Payments may be handled by third-party providers. Full payment card details are not necessarily stored by us, and how your payment credentials are handled may be governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy practices.
- Virtual items and digital benefits carry no cash value unless the law requires otherwise.
- Completed purchases of digital goods, and services already consumed, are generally non-refundable except where the law requires it or a product-specific rule says so.
- Fraudulent transactions, chargebacks, payment abuse or suspected unauthorised use can lead to cancelled orders, feature limits, account review or suspension.
- Access to purchased content or benefits can depend on account status, product availability, technical compatibility and operational rules.
Third-party services and external links
The platform integrates with and links to services run by other people — login, payments, analytics, hosting, content delivery, support tools, and ordinary web links that may open elsewhere. Those services run under their own terms and their own privacy notices, and your use of them is between you and them.
We do not guarantee the availability or security of third-party services, and we are not responsible for content, policies or actions on sites we do not operate.
Intellectual property
The platform itself — software, interface design, branding, product architecture, service content and other protected elements — belongs to LivHub or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and unfair competition law. Do not copy, redistribute, scrape, reverse engineer or exploit it without authorisation. Rights complaints go through the copyright page.
Enforcement, suspension and termination
Suspected breaches of these terms, the safety rules, the payment rules, the community standards or the law get investigated. Where it is reasonably necessary to protect the platform, its users, its partners or the public, we may:
- Remove, restrict or disable access to content.
- Issue warnings, or limit posting, messaging, matching or purchasing.
- Suspend, review, freeze or terminate an account.
- Cancel transactions or withhold platform-side grants, where law and the applicable rules permit.
- Preserve relevant records and cooperate with legitimate legal or regulatory requests.
When an account closes, some data is removed or anonymised within a reasonable period, while certain records are kept where they are needed for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling or enforcement.
Privacy
How personal information is collected, used, stored, shared and protected is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of this agreement. On any question about data rights, retention, cookies, sharing, third-party processing or children’s privacy, that page is the primary reference. Nothing here limits rights you have under privacy or consumer protection law.
Disclaimers and limits on liability
We work to keep the platform available, secure and useful, but to the maximum extent the law allows it is provided on an "as available" basis. There is no guarantee of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, the continued existence of any feature, or any particular social, commercial or personal outcome.
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses arising out of third-party services, user-generated content, interactions between users, unauthorised access caused by your own failure to protect your credentials, or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where excluding or limiting it is prohibited by the law that applies to you. Where a clause here and a mandatory local rule conflict, the local rule wins.
Updates and contact
These terms change when the service, the product design, the legal requirements or the risk controls change. Material updates move the effective date and are announced through the platform or another appropriate channel. Questions go to [email protected].
These terms and the privacy policy are meant to be read together. Where a question is specifically about personal data, the privacy policy governs.
