LivHub Video chat 18+
Video chat, 18 and over, and here is how that is actually enforced
Every site in this category says 18+. Far fewer say what sits behind it. This page is the whole of it — where the confirmation happens, what a report does, and what ends an account.
The three points where it is enforced
- Step 1
Before the first call
You confirm you are 18 or over. It happens once per device and we do not store your age — the answer stays on your machine.
- Step 2
During a call
Leaving takes one tap and needs no explanation. Reporting takes one more and can be done on the way out rather than instead of leaving.
- Step 3
After a report
A person reads it. Accounts that keep drawing reports stop being matched with anyone, and accounts that turn out to belong to minors are removed.
Why the confirmation is not on the front page
It would be easy to put the age question on arrival and call it stricter. We deliberately did not. Putting it there means nobody can read the safety rules, the pricing or the reporting process before agreeing to something — you would be clicking yes to terms you have not been shown.
So the pages stay open and the gate sits where the actual risk is: the step into a live call with a stranger.
What we ask of you in return
- Be honest about the first question. It is the one thing here that the system cannot check for you.
- Report rather than just leave. Leaving protects you. Reporting is what removes the person from everyone else's night.
- Keep identifying details off camera. Address, workplace, account details. A stranger worth talking to stays interesting without them.
Questions about the age rule
Is an age checkbox real protection?
On its own, no — and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. It sets the terms and gives a basis for removing accounts, but the part that does the work is what happens after a report. That is why the step above is written out rather than implied.
Where exactly does the confirmation appear?
Between the landing page and your first call. You can read the whole site without being asked; the question comes when you go to meet someone.
Do you store my date of birth?
No. There is no birth date field and nothing about your age is kept on our side. The confirmation is remembered on your own device so you are not asked twice.
What gets an account removed?
Being under 18, and repeatedly drawing reports. Those are the two that end it rather than just interrupt it.
Can I report someone after the call has already ended?
Report on the way out — that is what the button on the call is for. Leaving first and reporting second is the right order, not the polite one.
Is the whole site 18+, or only some parts?
The calls are. You can read the pages without confirming anything, which is deliberate — hiding the explanations behind the gate would mean nobody could check the rules before agreeing to them.
